Urban Landscaping Technician crossover pilots
Basque and Danish students worked on an automated green wall solution Automation and Industrial Robotics and Industrial Mechatronics students from Armeria Eskola (Eibar, Basque Country) and Gardening and Landscaping studentsfrom Green Academy (Aarhus, Denmark) worked on an automated vertical garden prototype merging horticulture and technology. In Denmark, at the Green Academy school, students first learnt about the characteristics and needs of plants and gardens and how to incorporate them into the community. After that, at Armeria Eskola, they focused mainly on technology – pneumatics, hydraulics, sensors and programming. Electrical Discharding Machining Module at Armeria Eskola (Basque Country)
New module in the mechanical field From 20th to 31st of March 2023 Armeria Eskola hosted the first edition of the Electrical Discharging Machining Module. Students from the Mechanical Manufacturing Design study program together with 4 German students from Production and Tool Mechanics programs -belonging to Berufsschule für Fertigungstechnik Munich- learnt about wire eroding processes, including the selection of the appropriate materials as well as the tools to be used depending on the difficulty of the part to be machined. EMEU4C Transnational Project Meeting in Kuopio, Finland
Partners made progress in the development of the crossover modules What skills and competences do vocational education students need to successfully complete a crossover study module involving a completely different speciality from theirs? What activities and materials should teachers design for students from different fields who work together for two or three weeks in an international team? These are the two trigger questions more than 40 teachers tried to unravel during the second transnational project meeting, which took place on the 24th and 25th of November in the newly built facilitites at Sakky Campus, in Kuopio, Finland. Meetings took place both in Haarlem and at Horizon College in Heerhugoward On the 18th,19th and 20th May, teachers from all the partners countries attended the meeting with their EMEU colleagues in Haarlem, The Netherlands, hosted by their colleagues from Horizon College. At the meeting, several items were dissused such as: the mobilities carried out this year and how to improve them in the future, we took decisions about aspects around the assessment of the students who participate and common competences to be assessed, as well as proposed new modules for the autumn. This year ICT teachers got together at UNI EIBAR-ERMUA to discuss projects with colleagues from Denmark, Finland and the Netherlands. Electrical Advanced Engineering Module completed An international group consisting of 2 Slovakian (Stredná priemyselná škola technická/ Spiiska Nova Ves), 2 Spanish (Armeria Eskola/ Eibar) and 2 Dutch (ROC Horizon) students completed in tandem teams with 6 German apprentices a 2-weeks study module (09.May – 20.May) in Munich, at the Vocational School of Metal – Design – Mechatronics/ Munich – Germany. After getting to know the city of Munich by bike we started the next day with the course content: Electrical Engineering! The content consisted of programming an asynchronous motor including frequency converter and setting up a gate control with a star-delta start-up on a test stand. It was completed by

Basque and Dutch students have developed two ICT projects
IoT and Lan party Nine students and four teachers from UNI EIBAR (Basque Country) have traveled to ROC Horizon College (The Netherlands) to develop two projects related to ICT:– ICT-Internet of Things: The students have learned to program in Python using Raspberry Pi, thus starting out in the world of programming.– Lan PARTY: they have helped in the organization of a Lan Party with conferences and online games.The assessment of both projects has been very positive and the participants have shown their intention to repeat in the next school year. Teachers have started designing the road map to create unique experiences for students by merging different study programmes A bright sun and a Danish warm smile welcomed teachers and steering group members at the EMEU4CROSSOVERS kick-off work conference, which took place from 22nd to 25th of March in Aarhus Tech, Aarhus, Denmark. More than 40 teachers and coordinators from Aarhus Tech and Jordbrugets Uddannelsescenter Århus (DK), Horizon College and MboRijnland (NL), Savo and Jyvaskylan koulutuskuntayhtymä (FI), Armeria Eskola and Uni Eibar-Ermua BHI (Basque Country, Spain), Kerschensteiner Schulzentrum München (D) got acquainted with each other and started brainstorming ideas and designing the roadmap for the 14 project results to be delivered
