Electrical Advanced Engineering Module completed

An international group consisting of 2 Slovakian (Stredná priemyselná škola technická/ Spiiska Nova Ves), 2 Spanish (Armeria Eskola/ Eibar) and 2 Dutch (ROC Horizon) students completed in tandem teams with 6 German apprentices a 2-weeks study module (09.May – 20.May) in Munich, at the Vocational School of Metal – Design – Mechatronics/ Munich – Germany.

After getting to know the city of Munich by bike we started the next day with the course content: Electrical Engineering! The content consisted of programming an asynchronous motor including frequency converter and setting up a gate control with a star-delta start-up on a test stand. It was completed by two factory visits, which produce and test PCBs (printed circuit boards). After some interesting presentations from engineers in company the group had a city tour in the medieval town Wasserburg.

Last but not least we all sat together with three different teachersfrom Slovakia and Spain and thought about new ideas of cooperation with a Maß Beer. Prost!
