Impressive experience For two weeks in june, two students from the Finnish school of Kupio and two from the Dutch school of Roc Horizon have worked with electrical panels and diagrams using the EPLAN software and as a practice they have learned to program a refrigeration ins. Industrial Automation module in Kuopio Three students from BSFT in Germany and one student from Horizon College in Neteherlands have attended the module “Industrial Automation” offered by Savo Vocational College Kuopio. The students made small applications for ABB and Mitsubishi robots.

The students from Bilbao attended Wood Surface treatment module during the weeks 13 – 15 in March-April 2019. Winter experiences were sauna (and ice swimming) and skating.

Carpentry connection between Denmark and Finland My name is Jacob and I am a carperter student from Aarhus Denmark. Regards from Kuopio where I was learning how wood is used in construction. I stayed at Savo Vocational College three weeks and did different kind of carpentry work, i.g. roofing, timber frames, paneling… My worst disappointment was that there were no snow in Kuopio. But i will definitely come back and see Lapland and experience snow and taste reindeer meat.

“Sign in: a great study module” Two students of MboRijnland and Horizon college took part in the study module “ Health and well-being of children at Hyria college in Hyvinkaa, Finland. Kim and Ramona, two childcare students of MboRijnland will never forget this experience. In the evaluation with their Dutch tutor they told that the contribution and impact  to their professional growth is very valuable. They experienced many differences between the Dutch and Finnish childcare system.  In the lessons about Nutrition they noticed that the teachers and students discuss a lot about the subjects and that there is not as much variety in the lessons as in the Netherlands.  Ramona
