GermanyAs part of the EMEU (Engineering Mobility in Europe) project, the Vocational School for Metal – Design – Mechatronics / BS MDM in Munich hosted another module dedicated to PLC programming (programmable logic controller) in October 2019.

We were very pleased to welcome eight students from Finland, Spain and Slovakia from 07. to 25.10.2019 in Munich. Together with a German student of our school, they learned at different stations the commissioning of a mechatronic system controlled by a PLC, working in teams of one European student and one German student.

After two weeks and a final exam, the guests accompanied their local tandem partners to their training company (BMW, MAN and Seidenader). There, they were able to deepen their skills acquired at school by means of corresponding facilities and also gained an insight into training in the dual system.

The common time in Munich was rounded off by a colorful accompanying program of museum and company visits, city tours and a hike in the Bavarian Alps.
