  • Virtual activities going on right now or in development? (Christina Murphy)

  • Rough module plan for May/ June (can we plan modules in presence in summer months/ or are there further restrictions in school?) – maybe it could be Plan A to develop a module plan if we have open borders in the summer months again – let’s hope and be positive 😉 (Christina Murphy)

  • Further information about EMEU conference? – participants/ date/ agenda (Christina Murphy)

  • Discussion about how we see inclusion in a KA1 perspective. (Flemming)

Meeting Notes:

Announcements: Carole Beaudemont will join the EMEU crossover project on behalf of her new employer: Academy de Lille

New back up for Flemming: Mervi Kuvaja from SAVO College.

Frans can’t attend because of personal circumstances

Updates per College in general: virtual mobilities are starting in the various Colleges. No physical mobilities yet, (planned) start dates vary in the various colleges (from march to end of school year) or are unknown. Various levels of Covid cases in the colleges. In most colleges teachers are very tired and overloaded. Jaana: please contact us if you have nice offers.

EMEU for Crossovers Danish National Agencies think it is a good project. Caution: not old wine in new bottles: make sure to address differences. But general message is please continue. Needed: date for application for the Call. Waiting for EU budget. Activity now: writing application. Goals is to have a draft just before Christmas.

Module plan for May and June seems that most of the schools are not expecting mobilities at that time. But if it is offered (for example because of regional openings, vaccines, faster testing) 3-4 weeks preparation time is needed to start a module.

EMEU Conference in Autumn 2021 hosted by MBO Rijnland. No agenda yet, 2 years since last meeting, suggestions:

  • Follow up

  • Virtual activities

  • EQVET: are modules still in line with EQVET?

  • Do the modules need adjustments?

  • Add new schools?

  • Same high participation rate hopefully

  • Planning will start in Januari/Februari

Miscellaneous: How to deal with the calls for KA1: Denmark: plan as you would without COVID and it will be force majeur when it can’t happen. Netherlands: Calls 2019 and 2020 can be postponed. School with calculate how much they need in the various calls. Can all EMEU modules be offered as a virtual mobility? Depends on the module: it will not be possible for all modules: item on agenda for next meeting. See also website EMEU for examples.
