Four students had a great trip to Finland.
In November 2019 us four Danish students went to Jyväskylä, Finland, to visit their culinary school. We became a part of their everyday school life, and cooked both traditional Finnish food, and more classical dishes. They really gave us an insight into their culture, and we got to taste both elk, reindeer, and a lot of pike. The Finnish people was quite shy, but after a couple of days, we won them over with our charm and funny Danish accents. But this trip wasn’t all school. In our spare time, we wanted to explore the amazing Finnish culture. We watched ice hockey, hiked in the amazing cold nature and even tried the famous sauna experience. Finland is an amazing country, with some amazing people, and this experience has given us a lot we can use, further on in our education.
